Candidate ID Verification: Unproctored Exam

Candidate Identity Verification is a security feature for Unproctored exams, ensuring candidates verify their identity before starting an exam.

Overview

Identity verification via Stripe is an optional security feature that can be enabled for Unproctored exams only. This feature helps maintain the integrity of the examination process by ensuring that candidates verify their identity before starting an exam. This feature is limited to Organization Admins, who have the ability to enable and configure it for their organization in the Store Portal.

Next Steps

  1. Navigate to the Certiverse Store Portal
  2. Locate and click EDIT on the desired exam in the Store Portal
    1. If you have not yet created your exam in the Store portal, here's How to Create an exam in the Store.
  3. Locate the Delivery Type tab for the exam.
  4. Select Unproctored or Unproctored - Secure Browser

  5. Enable the ID Verification toggle.
  6. Be sure to make your exam active and fill out required Store configurations prior to launching the exam.

Candidate Failed ID Verification Process

In the event of a candidate failing the automated flow of ID Verification, Certiverse Support team will manually review the ID Verification attempt and manually Accept the provided government-issued ID, or Reject them and ask them to try again. Candidates may continue to attempt to pass the ID Verification process up until their exam expires or the exam is cancelled by the candidate.
