Step 1: Access the Item Management Portal
- Click Portals.
- Click Item Management.
Step 2: Navigate to the "In Progress" Section
- Click In Progress to view the items that are being worked on.
Step 3: Select the Item to Edit
- Click Item to choose the specific item you want to modify.
Step 4: Access the Item Summary
- Click Summary to review the current item details.
Step 5: Change the Item Type
- Click Change Item Type.
- Click Select New Item Type to choose the new item type.
Step 6: Update the Item Details
- Select the New Item Type from the available options.
- Select the Correct Answer that will be removed from the item.
- Type the New Incorrect Answer to replace the previous answer.
- Type a Rationale for the new incorrect answer.
Step 7: Finalize the Item Type Change
- Click NEXT to proceed.
- Click CHANGE ITEM TYPE to apply the changes.
Step 8: Preview the Item
- Click Item Preview to confirm that the changes were added to the new item type.
Step 9: Verify the Changes
- Click History to ensure the changes made by the author have been saved.
- Click the dropdown to view additional details if needed.
