How to Change Item Type for a Pending Import Item in the Item Management Portal

This video walks you through the steps to change the item type for a pending import item in the Item Management Portal and add it to the Item Pool.

Step 1: Access the Item Management Portal

  1. Click on Portals.
  2. Click on Item Management Portal.
  3. Click on Pending Import to view the list of items waiting for import.

Step 2: Select the Item to Change

  1. Click on the Item you want to modify.
  2. Click on the Summary Tab to access the item’s summary details.

Step 3: Change the Item Type

  1. Click on Change Item Type to open the item type selection menu.
  2. Click on Select New Item Type to choose the new item type.
  3. Select the New Item Type from the options provided.

Step 4: Remove Answers (If Necessary)

  1. Click on Answers to be removed (repeat as needed).

Step 5: Confirm and Apply the Change

  1. Click NEXT to proceed with the changes.
  2. Click on CHANGE ITEM TYPE to confirm and apply the change.

Step 6: Preview and Add the Item to the Pool

  1. Click on Item Preview to review the item after the changes.
  2. Click on the Item to add it to the Item Pool.
  3. Click on + ADD SELECTED to add the item to the pool.
  4. Click on OK to confirm the action.

Step 7: Verify the Item Status

  1. Click on Accepted to view the item in the Accepted list.
  2. Click on Filter to refine the list of accepted items.
  3. Enter the Item Name in the filter field to quickly locate your item.
  4. Click on the item to view more details.

Step 8: Review the Item History

  1. Click on History to access the item's change history.

By following these steps, you will successfully change the item type for a pending import item and add it to the Item Pool in the Item Management Portal.
