How to Change Item Type for a Pending Import Item in the Item Management Portal
This video walks you through the steps to change the item type for a pending import item in the Item Management Portal and add it to the Item Pool.
Tap the video to pause the demo or manually advance each step.
Step 1: Access the Item Management Portal
- Click on Portals.
- Click on Item Management Portal.
- Click on Pending Import to view the list of items waiting for import.
Step 2: Select the Item to Change
- Click on the Item you want to modify.
- Click on the Summary Tab to access the item’s summary details.
Step 3: Change the Item Type
- Click on Change Item Type to open the item type selection menu.
- Click on Select New Item Type to choose the new item type.
- Select the New Item Type from the options provided.
Step 4: Remove Answers (If Necessary)
- Click on Answers to be removed (repeat as needed).
Step 5: Confirm and Apply the Change
- Click NEXT to proceed with the changes.
- Click on CHANGE ITEM TYPE to confirm and apply the change.
Step 6: Preview and Add the Item to the Pool
- Click on Item Preview to review the item after the changes.
- Click on the Item to add it to the Item Pool.
- Click on + ADD SELECTED to add the item to the pool.
- Click on OK to confirm the action.
Step 7: Verify the Item Status
- Click on Accepted to view the item in the Accepted list.
- Click on Filter to refine the list of accepted items.
- Enter the Item Name in the filter field to quickly locate your item.
- Click on the item to view more details.
Step 8: Review the Item History
- Click on History to access the item's change history.
By following these steps, you will successfully change the item type for a pending import item and add it to the Item Pool in the Item Management Portal.
