Create trust center link on certiverse.com

We're excited to announce the addition of a direct link to the Certiverse Trust Center on our website's homepage. Located at the bottom of the page under 'Security,' this new 'Trust Center' link provides users with immediate access to crucial information about our security practices and policies. This enhancement ensures transparency and reinforces our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of trust and security for our users.

Admin

Booking Notification Connector Configuration

We've improved how users manage Booking Notifications within the Admin portal. Users can now easily add, edit, and delete Booking Notification connections within the Integrations & Connectors section. Existing connections are displayed with clear identifiers, and users can manage connection names and credentials seamlessly. Additionally, the system ensures connections cannot be deleted if they're linked to store exams, preventing accidental disruptions. This enhancement streamlines connection management, offering greater clarity and control, while minimizing errors and system downtime for users.
Booking Notifications
Organizations can now configure and receive booking notifications directly to their hosted endpoints. This new feature enables seamless tracking of candidate activities and synchronization of booking statuses across all systems. Key functionalities include setting up notification connections, verifying endpoints, and configuring alerts for booking events such as creation, rescheduling, or cancellation. This enhancement provides improved operational transparency and efficiency, ensuring organizations have real-time insights into booking processes, which improves their ability to manage and support candidates effectively.

Store

Update timezone in Confirmation/Reminder Emails
The Test Center Confirmation and Reminder Emails now feature an updated timezone format for enhanced clarity. The format includes both the UTC offset and the timezone description, such as "(UTC+8:00) China Standard Time - Beijing, Chongqing, Hong Kong, Urumqi." This improvement ensures users receive clear and consistent time-related information, reducing confusion and enhancing the overall user experience.
Add Deep Link with Certiverse Account Log-in to Store Exam Page
The log-in process for organizations with SSO and Certiverse Accounts has been improved, allowing users to book exams without requiring SSO log-in. A link to force Certiverse Account log-in/account creation is now available, with the option to copy a deep link for exam redirection. This enhancement streamlines exam booking, providing users with a seamless experience by easily accessing exam links even if the "Require SSO Log-In to Book Exam" setting is disabled. The update ensures users have more flexible access to exam registrations, enhancing overall convenience and efficiency.
Option to Assign Proctor Capacity Group to a Store Exam
We have enhanced the Store Exam configuration by introducing the "Proctoring Group" setting under the Delivery Type tab, applicable when "Live Proctored" is selected. This allows the assignment of specific proctoring groups, even if the delivery type changes later. Default is set to "Organization Default Proctoring Group," with modifications permitted by Super Admins, Internal Org Admins, and Proctoring Managers. Users can view but not alter this setting. New bookings will utilize the selected proctoring group's capacity, ensuring streamlined management and preventing accidental changes by Org Admins. This improves user control and efficiency in exam proctoring configurations.
Change Bookings Confirmation Email Refund Language
To align with client policies and avoid conflicting refund communications, we've updated our email notifications. Refund policy details will no longer be included in confirmation, reminder, reschedule, and cancellation emails for exams without a set price or with a price of $0. Exams with a price over $0 will still display the refund policy when paid via voucher or discount. Additionally, users will find guidance on accessing invoices or receipts if payment was made through the Certiverse platform, improving clarity and reducing refund-related discrepancies. This change enhances the user experience by providing consistent messaging aligned with client refund policies.
Ability to create a store exam with an exam code that already exists under a different Org
We've resolved an issue that previously restricted users from creating a store exam with an exam code already in use by another organization. Now, users can assign identical exam codes across different organizations without conflict. This enhancement streamlines the exam creation process, offers greater flexibility, and improves operational efficiency for organizations managing multiple exams. Users can confidently set up exams without the frustration of code duplication errors, fostering a smoother administrative experience.

Authoring

Float: Additional functionality in Quill to support item editing
The transition from CK Editor to Quill for editing questions and response options in item management introduces enhanced custom functionalities. Quill now supports extended table features through third-party integrations and customizable inline HTML. While links initially open in new windows, custom modifications can adjust this behavior. Although Quill lacks built-in image link support, custom implementations fill this gap. Users may need a separate subscription for spell-checking. This strategic shift optimizes editing capabilities and expands flexibility, empowering users to manage content more efficiently and tailor functionalities to their specific requirements.
Changes to the Review Portal for Multiple Correct Answer questions
The review portal has been enhanced to better accommodate questions with multiple correct answers. The terminology has been updated from "Correct Answer" and "Incorrect Answer" to "Correct Answer(s)" and "Incorrect Answer(s)". This change ensures clarity for users, accurately reflecting the possibility of multiple correct responses and improving the assessment process. This adjustment enhances user understanding and decision-making, facilitating a more intuitive and accurate review experience.
Allow editing items without requiring a comment
Admins now have the flexibility to bypass the mandatory comment requirement when editing items in the Item Management Portal. This enhancement introduces a new configuration option in the Admin Portal's Items tab, allowing Admins and Project Admins to disable comment requirements. By default, comments are still required, but with this new setting, Admins can streamline their workflow and eliminate unnecessary comment burdens, especially during time-sensitive edits. This change enhances user experience by offering greater control and efficiency in item management.

Item Management

Better experience to open side status menu in Item Management
We have enhanced the side status menu in item management for a more efficient user experience. With this update, accessing and navigating the status menu is now more intuitive and responsive, significantly reducing the time needed to manage items. This improvement streamlines workflow, enhances productivity, and ensures users can effortlessly interact with the item status features.
Ability to Search for Enemy Items By Item Content
A new field, "Search By Item Content," has been implemented, enabling users to search for enemy items specifically by their content. This enhancement mirrors the existing functionality of item management, streamlining the search process. Users can now efficiently locate and manage items based on content, improving overall navigation and productivity in managing enemy items. This refinement significantly enhances the user experience by simplifying complex search tasks and ensuring quicker access to necessary information.

Exam Management

Random Item Selection Counts for Test Part, Section, and Sub-Sections on Form
We've improved the visibility of item selection in exams with random item selection enabled. Users can now see a clear summary of the total number of items served at the exam form, test part, and section levels. This enhancement streamlines the workflow by eliminating the need for manual checks in each sub-section, thus reducing errors and saving time. The new summary view aligns with the exam blueprint, ensuring all intended items are included and accurately reflected, improving the accuracy and efficiency of exam preparation and verification processes.
Need to show total items for exams with multiple sections or parts
We've enhanced the display of item counts for improved clarity. Now, users can view the total number of pretest and scored items for each form and part, in addition to the existing section view. This is particularly beneficial for exams with multiple sections or parts, ensuring comprehensive visibility of item distribution. Labels such as "Section:", "Part:", and "Form:" have been added for straightforward identification. Even for exams with a single part and section, this feature provides consistent information presentation, simplifying navigation and understanding for all users.
Manage Org Level Exam Screens and Score Reports
The recent enhancement to the Exam Management portal allows Admins to efficiently view and manage all exam screens, including score reports, through new menu options under "Exam Management". The "Exams" screen is now the default upon entry, while "Exam Screens" provides an AG Grid for managing all exam screens. Admins can edit content, add new screens, and copy existing screens within the system. A notification warns if changes impact associated exams. This streamlined process enhances user experience, ensuring seamless management of exam screens and reducing the risk of unintended changes affecting ongoing exams.

Voucher Portal

Voucher Partners can edit purchases via Bulk Edit
Voucher Partners can now efficiently manage purchases with the new Bulk Edit feature. This enhancement allows partners to edit multiple purchases simultaneously, streamlining the process and saving time. The update significantly improves workflow efficiency, reducing the need for repetitive, time-consuming single edits. Partners will experience a smoother, more productive interaction with the system, ultimately enhancing their ability to manage purchases more effectively. This positive change elevates user experience and boosts operational productivity, making purchase management more seamless and less time-intensive.
Archive Authorized Voucher Partners
The Voucher Portal now allows users to archive inactive voucher partners, improving organization and partner management. Users can easily change a partner's status to Archived from Inactive, but archived partners must be unarchived before reactivation. Archived partners are excluded from the "Authorized Partners Available" list, streamlining voucher program assignments. Existing voucher purchases remain unaffected by the change to Archived status, but archived partners are barred from initiating new purchases. This enhancement simplifies partner oversight and optimizes the management of voucher programs, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.

Test Centers & Events

Time zone clarification in Test Center settings
We've addressed an issue related to time zone settings for test centers, ensuring accurate scheduling and event management. Users can now select time zones using Windows format for clarity and precision, eliminating confusion with the ETC/GMT format. This update improves the reliability of test scheduling, as confirmed by a successful setup in Beijing, China. With this enhancement, users can confidently manage their test center reservations, knowing that times are accurate and adjustments for time zone changes are automatically and correctly applied.
Give CV Admins permission to create Test Center Group
CV Admins can now efficiently create and manage Test Center Groups. They have enhanced capabilities to assign associated organizations and designate a Test Center Group Manager. Moreover, all functionalities outlined in the specific ticket are now applicable to CV Admins, ensuring smooth operations and coordination. This update empowers CV Admins with comprehensive control over test center management, fostering streamlined processes and improved organizational alignment.

Delivery

Pause timer in TrueAbility

The system now automatically pauses the timer for Certiverse exams when a proctor pauses the exam session, enhancing fairness by ensuring candidates have the full allotted time. For TrueAbility exams, we have integrated an API call that pauses and resumes the timer based on the proctor’s actions, aligning with Certiverse’s functionality. This improvement ensures consistent timer management across different exam platforms, increasing reliability and reducing manual oversight. Overall, users benefit from streamlined examination procedures with accurate time tracking, enhancing the exam experience and maintaining integrity.
Make time remaining notification more visible
We've enhanced the visibility of time remaining warnings during tests. The previous notifications were subtle and often overlooked by users. The improved design ensures these warnings are easily noticeable without disrupting the test-taking experience with intrusive modal dialogs or interactions. This update allows test takers to manage their time more effectively, enhancing overall test performance and experience.

SSO

Add Link for Certiverse Account Log-In to Admin User Authentication Page
We have improved the log-in process for organizations using Single Sign-On (SSO) who also accept Certiverse Accounts for exam bookings when "Require SSO Log-In to Book Exam" is disabled. A new link directing to the Certiverse Account log-in/creation page has been added to the User Authentication tab in the Admin Org Portal. This enhancement streamlines user access by offering Certiverse as an additional login option alongside existing SSO connections, enhancing flexibility and user experience in exam booking processes.
Implement Multiple SSO Authentication Providers and Test Mode
We have successfully implemented the integration of multiple Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication providers and introduced a Test Mode feature. This enhancement allows users to securely access our platform using their preferred authentication provider, increasing flexibility and security. The Test Mode further aids in ensuring seamless SSO integration by allowing for testing scenarios without affecting live data. These updates improve overall user experience by offering more secure, adaptable, and reliable access options.
Link to force Certiverse Account Log-In
We have successfully implemented a solution for clients to streamline exam bookings via both SSO and Certiverse accounts. Users from Group 3 can now access a dedicated link from their LMS, directing them to the Certiverse login flow where they can log in or create an account. This link ensures users are seamlessly redirected to their exams post-login, similar to our existing SSO functionality. This enhancement significantly improves user experience by offering flexible login options while maintaining deep link integrity for SSO-exclusive clients, optimizing exam accessibility and convenience.
Add option to log-in using Certiverse or SSO if Require SSO is not enabled
Users can now seamlessly choose between Single Sign-On (SSO) and Certiverse accounts when booking exams. For organizations with SSO configured but not required, users are redirected to an SSO selection page. This page now includes the option to log in or create a Certiverse account, ensuring a flexible and user-friendly sign-in process. This enhancement caters to diverse organizational needs, offering greater convenience and streamlining the exam booking process.
