Notes: October 14th Release

This release focuses on improving usability, consistency, and performance. Key updates include enhanced billing management, expanded token options, new bulk actions, upgraded editors, framework and grid upgrades for smoother user experiences.

Admin

Billing Configurations Tab – Reorganized and Enhanced

The Admin Portal’s Billing Configuration tab has been reorganized and enhanced to improve usability and data management. Unused sections like Balance and the “(Beta)” label have been removed, while key elements such as the CSM assignment dropdown have been relocated under the new Organization Info group. Tabs have been renamed for clarity (Subscriptions → SaaS Subscriptions, Guarantees → Minimums), and top tabs are now sticky for easier navigation. New fields and sections—including Number of Organization Administrators, Master Service Agreement, Statement of Work, Renewal Date, Special Billing Notes, Non-Standard Fees, and Revenue Share—have been added to support better billing tracking and reporting. Additionally, Cancel Changes and Save Changes buttons remain visible at all times, and URL fields open in a new window with test buttons, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience.

Removal of TrueAbility Logo for Exams Using Skillable Connector

The TrueAbility logo has been removed from the exam menu for exams that use the Skillable Connector/Screen integration. This update ensures accurate branding and a consistent interface by displaying only the relevant platform elements during the exam experience.

Authoring

Replace Remaining CKEditor Fields with Quill in Authoring Portal

This update transitions the remaining configuration fields in the Authoring Portal from CKEditor to Quill, continuing the platform-wide shift to a cost-effective, consistent rich text editor. The change preserves all existing click-to-edit functionality and rich text features. Affected fields include Blueprint View/Edit → Topics Description and JTA Analysis View/Edit in Survey Tab fields such as Welcome Message Information, Demographics Explanation Information, and Anything Else, ensuring a seamless editing experience for users.

Item Management

Bulk Update - Item Status

This update enhances administrative efficiency by adding the ability to bulk update item statuses through the Bulk Action feature. Previously, admins had to update each item’s status individually, a process that was both time-consuming and prone to error. The new functionality introduces an “Item Status” option within the Bulk Update panel, allowing users to select multiple items, choose a new status from a predefined dropdown list, and apply the change in one step using the “Review & Confirm Update” button. The option is displayed only when all selected items share the same current status, ensuring consistency and preventing invalid batch updates.

Exam Management

Standardize Tokens Order and Consistency Across Exam Screens and Score Reports

This update reorganizes and standardizes reporting tokens to improve clarity and consistency across different data levels. Tokens are now grouped under clear headers—General Information, Test Part Result, Section Result, and Root Topic Result—with relevant fields listed beneath each group. New fields, such as Exam Store SKU/Code, Exam Store Name, and precise percent scores at the section and root topic levels, have been added to ensure more complete and consistent data availability. This structured approach makes it easier for users to locate and interpret candidate, exam, and performance data across all reporting outputs.

Add New Tokens for Score Reports and Exam Screens

This update adds additional tokens to the General Information group for use on exam screens and score reports, addressing client requests for more detailed candidate data. The new fields—Candidate Email Address, Certiverse Candidate ID (DisplayCode, e.g., DB-BD6), Client Candidate ID, and Reservation Code—are now available under the General Information header, ensuring consistent access to key candidate identifiers across reports and exam interfaces.

Add Token Option for Section Percent Score – Integer

This update adds missing tokens to ensure consistency across reporting levels. The Section Percent Score - Integer token has been added to match the existing Section Percent Score - Two Decimal and align with the Root Topic tokens (Root Topic Percent Score - Integer and Two Decimal). Additionally, new tokens for Exam Raw Incorrect, Root Topic Raw Incorrect, and Section Raw Incorrect have been included, providing complete and consistent reporting of raw scores and percentages at all levels.

Copy Exam Form Functionality

This update introduces a Copy Exam Form feature, allowing users to duplicate an existing exam form—including all items, structure, and settings—and create a new form in draft status. This enhancement saves time and reduces errors when corrections, changes, or

BI & Reporting

Display Test Center Termination Reasons in Candidate Results and Exam Store Booking Report

This update ensures that the Termination Reason selected from the Test Center Reservation UI is properly captured and displayed across reporting tools. Previously, when an exam was terminated (e.g., “Candidate Left”), the reason did not appear in the Candidate Results or Exam Store Booking Report, leaving the Termination Reason column empty. With this improvement, the selected reason now appears consistently in both reports—within the AG Grid, export files, and JSON Results for Candidate Results, as well as in the AG Grid, export files, and side panel details for the Exam Store Booking Report, aligning behavior with that of the Proctor Portal Session UI.

Proctor Portal

Theme and Framework Upgrade – Migration to Latest Angular Version

This update migrates the Proctor Portal to the latest Angular framework, ensuring consistency with current technology standards. The upgrade modernizes the portal’s foundation, improving maintainability, performance, and alignment with other platform components. Following this change, the Proctor Portal now runs fully on the updated Angular framework.

Test Centers & Events

Add Search/Filter Box on Test Center landing page

This update improves usability on the Test Center landing page by adding a search filter for exams. Users can now quickly locate specific exams by typing either the exam name or exam code into a text input field positioned above the exam list. The list dynamically updates in real-time to show matching results, enhancing navigation for organizations managing a large number of exams. If no matches are found, the list displays no items. The search field styling aligns with the existing design standards used on the store exam landing page.

No Portal Assigned

Move “Time Spent (Minutes)” Calculation to Backend for Pass Rate Report

To enhance data integrity and system performance, the calculation of Time Spent (minutes) has been moved from the frontend to the backend. Previously, this computation occurred in JavaScript on the client side, which posed potential consistency and reliability issues. With this update, all time calculations are now handled securely on the server, ensuring more accurate results and improved maintainability of the application.

Replace Remaining CKEditor Fields with Quill in Exam Management and Test Center

This update replaces CKEditor with Quill for the remaining configuration fields in Exam Management and the Test Center Portal, aligning with the platform’s existing transition to Quill and eliminating CKEditor licensing costs. The change maintains all current rich text editor features, providing a consistent editing experience across the platform. Affected fields include Exam Management screens under View/Edit in Exam Screens and Score Reports (Start Display, Start Agreement, End Display, End Score Report, Author Credits, Delivery Display) and the Test Center General Tab, specifically the Test Center Description field.

Upgrade AG Grid to Version 34.1.0 Across Certiverse Platforms

This update upgrades the CV platform’s AG Grid from version 30 to the latest v34.0.1 (Charts v12.0.1) to leverage improved features, performance, and bug fixes. If any issues arise during the upgrade, the platform will revert to v33.3.2 to ensure stability while maintaining a modern, supported grid framework.
