Notes: October 20th Release

Certiverse navigation and login have been streamlined with a workflow-driven sidebar, updated Angular login, and Light/Dark Mode and now Voucher details include an “Assigned Date” column.

Voucher Portal

Voucher Purchase Details: Added “Assigned Date” Column

A new feature has been added to the voucher purchase details: an “Assigned Date” column positioned after the Email Recipient column. This column displays the date a voucher was allocated to a user when the email address is entered and confirmed via Send, allowing users to track how long it has been since assignment, useful for sending reminders or follow-ups. For vouchers not sent to a user, the field remains blank. Existing vouchers with previously tracked assignment dates will display that date; if no date was tracked, the field will remain empty.

Top Navigation Bar Updates: Portal to Workflow Transition

The platform’s navigation has been streamlined for a unified experience by removing the legacy top-right portal menu and consolidating all access points into the left-hand sidebar. A new “Test Development” link has been added for easier access, the Achievement Center has been relocated to the User Panel, and the burger menu next to the Certiverse logo has been removed. Additionally, an accessibility setting now allows users to switch between Light and Dark Mode, ensuring a cleaner, more consistent, and accessible navigation experience.

Left-Hand Sidebar Redesign: Workflow-Driven Navigation

The platform’s navigation has been redesigned to introduce a simplified, workflow-driven sidebar that replaces the legacy top-right portal system. This new left-hand sidebar organizes the application into clear sections such as Authoring, Exam Management, Store, Business Intelligence & Reporting, Support, and Admin, reflecting the logical flow of user tasks. Key changes include moving Authoring tabs to the sidebar, creating a new Exam Management section that consolidates related subpages, adding voucher and promo code links under the Store section, and relocating Business Intelligence & Reporting for easier access. This update enhances clarity, reduces onboarding friction, and ensures a more intuitive, consistent navigation experience.

Login Component Redesigned with Updated Angular and Certiverse Styling

The login component has been redesigned to align with the latest Angular framework and the Certiverse design system, ensuring a consistent user experience across the platform. The updated login box now uses the same Angular version as the main portal and adheres to Certiverse styling guidelines for buttons, inputs, colors, typography, and panel layouts. This redesign replaces the previous Entra template, standardizing form fields, primary buttons, social login interactions, and overall visual hierarchy to match the platform’s modern UI while improving usability and accessibility.
