Notes: May 21st Release

Platform updates include improved language handling after exams, streamlined Blueprint AI and Advanced Settings configuration, enhanced BI navigation, added exam notification guidance, and expanded Org Admin self-management for Test Center Groups.

Please note: In the interest of informing our customers as early as possible of any platform changes, we are sharing these release notes in advance of the software release. The final updates may vary and will be documented accordingly.

Homepage

Fixed Post-Exam Language Inheritance Issue

Fixed a bug where the homepage would display in the exam's language instead of the user's original language preference after completing an exam booked in a different language. The issue occurred because the delivery wrapper resolver was overriding the global language setting based on the exam's route data before the route had fully loaded. The homepage now correctly reverts to the user's configured language immediately after exam completion, without requiring a page refresh.

Blueprint

AI Configuration Improvements

The AI settings for blueprints have been streamlined into a single "AI" tab. The toggle has been renamed to "AI Item Writing," with inline instructions replaced by tooltips. When enabled, AI assistance applies to all configured item types automatically. The system default prompt has been improved, and any client-customized prompts are preserved. A new "Upload Date" column has been added to the reference content list.

New Advanced Settings Tab for Streamlined Configuration

The Blueprint creation and editing workflow now features a reorganized tabbed layout with a dedicated "Advanced Settings" tab. The General tab retains core fields (Organization, Blueprint Name, Assessment Level, Exam Duration, and MQC Info), while all detailed configuration sections, Item Quantity, Item Naming Convention, Item Writing & Review, Item Type Configurations, Item Languages, Blueprint Custom Guide, and Item Writing Custom Guide, have been relocated into Advanced Settings.

Each section uses collapsible cards that display bullet-point summaries of their contents when collapsed. The Advanced Settings tab, along with Item Tags and AI Configuration tabs, becomes available only after all required General fields are completed and the Blueprint is created.

Additionally, "Source Language" has been renamed to "Primary Language," item types are now displayed in a grouped UI, and published Blueprint languages are shown in a multi-column layout.

Store Exam

Added Helper Text in Exam Configuration

The "Retake Email Notifications Enabled" toggle in exam configuration now includes helper text displayed directly below it, following the same pattern used by other fields on the page. The text clarifies that, when enabled, candidates receive email notifications 7 days before and on the day their exam becomes available to retake, and that this applies to all results, including past results. This update is informational only and does not change the underlying notification behavior.

BI & Reporting

Navigation Restructure: Split Dashboard into Delivery Overview and Exams Overview

The left-hand navigation in the BI & Reporting section has been restructured for improved clarity and access control. The previous "Dashboard" link has been converted into a non-clickable "Dashboards" section header, with two new sub-links added beneath it: "Delivery Overview" and "Exams Overview."

Delivery Overview is accessible to all users who previously had access to the Dashboard, while Exams Overview is restricted to Certiverse Admins and Super Admins only. A separate "Reports" section header has also been added to the navigation panel. These changes affect navigation only; no dashboard content or data was modified.

Test Center & Events

Org Admins Can Now Create and Manage Their Own Groups

Org Admins (External) can now create Test Center Groups directly, without requiring a Certiverse Admin or Super Admin. Upon creation, the Org Admin is automatically assigned as the Group Admin and their organization is added to the group. Within the "Organizations in Group" tab, Org

Admins can add or remove organizations, limited to only those they are registered to — ensuring no visibility into unrelated organizations. This enhancement gives external administrators more autonomy over test center delivery management for their organizations.
