Configuring Accredible Badging Guide

Accredible empowers you to create and manage beautiful, Open Badge Compliant badges for any achievement. This guide walks you through the configuration process, from designing your badges to issuing them to recipients.

1. Design Your Badge:

  • Head to the "Designs" tab in your Accredible dashboard.
  • Click "Create Badge Design".
  • Choose a template or upload your own image. Accredible offers a variety of pre-designed templates to get you started. You can also upload your own image or logo to create a truly unique badge.
  • Customize the badge elements. Add text, icons, and other design elements to personalize your badge. You can control the font, color, size, and position of each element.
  • Preview and publish your badge. Once you're happy with your design, preview it on different devices and platforms. Then, click "Publish" to make it available for issuing.
2. Set Up Issuance Rules:
  • Navigate to the "Issuance Rules" tab.
  • Click "Create Issuance Rule".
  • Choose a trigger: Define what action will trigger the badge issuance. This could be completing a course, achieving a score on an assessment, or any other custom event.
  • Select the badge to be issued: Choose the badge you designed earlier from the available options.
  • Customize the issuance criteria (optional): Set additional requirements for earning the badge, such as specific completion dates or scores.
  • Configure email notifications (optional): Send automated emails to badge recipients informing them of their achievement.
3. Issue Badges to Recipients:
  • There are multiple ways to issue badges:

○    Manually: Go to the "Recipients" tab and click "Issue Badge" next to each recipient's name.

○    Bulk upload: Upload a CSV file containing recipient information and badge selections.

○    API integration: Use Accredible's API to automate badge issuance within your existing system. See Step 5.

 

4. Track and Share Badges:
  • Monitor badge issuance and recipient activity in the "Issuance Data" and "Recipients" tabs.
  • Recipients can view and share their badges through their Accredible profiles or embed them on websites and social media.

5. Add Your Badge to Your Certiverse Exam:


a. Log in to your Certiverse Organization Administrator account: https://www.certiverse.com/#/

b. Locate and Navigate to the Exam Management Portal.

c. Locate your exam.
d. Click VIEW/EDIT.

e. Enable the Send Badge option and select Accredible from Bading provider options listed.

f. Enter your Accredible Authorization Token
g. Enter your Accredible Group ID
h. Click UPDATE

 

Success! You have linked your Accredible Badge to your exam delivered through Certiverse!

 

Additional Note:

  • To give candidates a preview of the badge they will be receiving, add a copy of the badge image to your exam housed in the Certiverse’s Exam Store.
