This guide walks you through the key actions within the Job Task Analysis (JTA) system, including adding and editing tasks, managing domains, merging domains, commenting, deleting, and restoring tasks.
This video demonstrates how to add a new task within the Job Task Analysis (JTA) system and edit existing tasks to ensure accuracy and relevance. Additionally, it covers the process of editing a domain, merging the domains, leave comments to each task, delete a task, restore the deleted task, providing users with the necessary tools to refine and update their domain structure.

Step 1: Add a New Task

Click Portals from the main navigation menu.

Select Authoring to access the authoring workspace.

Use the Filter Name search bar to locate your project.

Click VIEW/AUTHOR on the desired entry.

Click CONTINUE to proceed.

Close any popup by clicking Close.

Click NEW TASK to create a new task.

Type your task description and press Enter to save it.
Step 2: Assign Domains to a Task

Click Assign at least 1 Domain* next to the task.

In the Domains window, search and select an existing domain, or press Enter to create a new one.

Repeat the process to assign additional domains if needed.
Step 3: Edit an Existing Domain

Click Manage Domains.

Locate the domain you want to update and click Edit.

Make your changes in the Domain field.

Click SAVE to confirm the edits.
Step 4: Merge Domains

Select the primary domain you want to keep.

Click Select the Domains to merge into.

Choose one or more domains to merge into it.

Click MERGE, then confirm by clicking MERGE again.

Click Close when done.
Step 5: Add a Comment to a Task

Click the Comment icon next to the task.

Type your note in the field labeled "Write and submit your comment here".

Click Submit the comment.

Click Close to exit the comment section.
Step 6: Delete a Task

Click Delete next to the task.

Confirm deletion by clicking OK.
Step 7: Restore a Deleted Task

Toggle Show Deleted to view previously removed tasks.

Find the task and click Restore.

Click OK to confirm.

Toggle off Show Deleted to return to your main list.
Step 8: Use Additional Features

Toggle Group by Domain to organize tasks by their assigned domain.

Click Comment while grouped to view or leave feedback.

Toggle Group by Domain off to return to standard view.

Click Guide for system help or onboarding resources.

Use Filter Created to sort tasks by creation date.
