How to Control Support Access to Disable Secure Browser (SEB)

You can now manage Support's ability to disable the Secure Browser (SEB) for candidates by using a new toggle option in the Delivery Type settings. We show you where to find this toggle and how to update the setting.

By default, the toggle is turned ON, allowing Support to disable SEB when necessary. To enforce stricter control and prevent Support from making changes to SEB settings for a given delivery type, simply turn the toggle OFF.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to Portals

    • From the main navigation menu, click Portals.
  2. Go to the Store Section

    • Click on Store to open the list of exam stores.
  3. Filter by Exam Store Name

    • Use the Filter icon and enter the name of the store you want to update.
  4. Click Edit

    • Once the store appears, click Edit to open the store’s settings.
  5. Open the Delivery Types Tab

    • Select the Delivery Types tab to view configuration options.
  6. Update the SEB Toggle

    • Find the setting called Allow Support to disable Secure Browser:
      • It is ON by default, which allows Support to disable SEB.
      • Toggle it OFF if you want to restrict this ability and enforce stricter control.
