Step 1: Select an Item
Begin by navigating to the Item Management Portal. Locate the item whose exhibit image you’d like to edit. Use the filter barto find the specific item you want to modify.
Step 2: View the Full-Size ImageOnce you’ve selected the item, click on the View Full Size button. This will allow you to see the image in its original resolution, making it easier to evaluate how resizing or alignment will affect its appearance.
Step 3: Access the Exhibit OptionsClick on the Exhibit button. This opens a menu where you can manage all exhibit-related visuals and settings for the selected item.
Step 4: Select an Existing ImageLocate the image you want to edit within the exhibit options. Click on the image to activate the editing options
Step 5: Resize the ImageClick on the Resize Image button to begin resizing. A resizing dropdown will appear. You can either select and option or adjust the image dimensions manually to the desired size by defining the pixels.
Step 6: Align the ImageOnce you’ve resized the image, select the Align button. This option allows you to choose alignment preferences such as:
- Center: For balanced and symmetrical placement.
- Left: Aligns the image to the left side of the display area.
- Right: Aligns the image to the right side.
Make your selection based on how the image should be displayed in relation to other content.
After making the necessary edits, click the Update button. This action saves your changes and applies them to the exhibit image.
Step 8: Add Comments for the UpdateTo ensure clarity and effective communication, add a comment summarizing the changes made.
