How to Restrict Voucher Usage by Email Domain in the Voucher Portal

The Email Restrictions feature allows organizations to limit voucher usage to specific email domains. This ensures that only candidates with approved domains can redeem vouchers.

Steps to Restrict Voucher Usage by Email Domain

1. Access the Voucher Program

  1. Log into Certiverse
  2. Go to the Voucher Portal.
  3. In the left menu, click Voucher Programs.
  4. Select the voucher program you need to update.
  5. Click the VIEW/EDIT button.

2. Navigate to the Email Restrictions Tab

  1. In the top menu, select the Email Restrictions tab.
  2. You will see the section labeled Add Domain Restrictions.

3. Add an Email Domain Restriction

  1. Enter the desired email domain in the input field (e.g., @visa.com, @united.com).
  2. Click the ADD DOMAIN button to save the entry.
    • If the field is empty or an invalid domain format is entered, the button will be disabled.
  3. The newly added domain will appear in the Your Domains section below.

4. Manage Existing Domains

Edit an Email Domain

  1. Click the edit icon next to the domain.
  2. A modal will appear with the current domain.
  3. Modify the domain as needed.
  4. Click Save/Update or Cancel to discard changes.

Change Domain Status (Active/Inactive)

  1. Locate the voucher portal user/silhouette icon next to the domain.
  2. Click the icon to toggle between ACTIVE and INACTIVE statuses.
  3. When clicking over the icon, the text Change Status will appear.

Delete an Email Domain

  1. Click the trash icon next to the domain.
  2. A confirmation modal will appear with the message:
    “Are you sure you want to delete this domain?”
  3. Click DELETE to confirm or CANCEL to keep the domain.

Additional Considerations

  • Pre-existing Vouchers: If a voucher was issued before adding an email restriction, it will no longer be redeemable if the candidate's email domain does not match the allowed list.
  • Updating Candidate Emails: Admins are responsible for updating candidate email addresses to match approved domains.
