How to View and Edit Exhibits Now Managed as Separate Records

Exhibits are now managed as separate records rather than being embedded within items. This improvement introduces unique identifiers, standalone descriptions, and independent history tracking.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to the Item Management Portal

  1. Click Portals from the main navigation menu.

  2. Select Item Management.

2. Access the Item

  1. Click the In Progress tab.

  2. Select the Item you wish to review.

3. View Exhibit History

  1. Click the History tab within the item.

  2. Use the dropdown to view details—here you'll notice the system has separated the exhibit as an independent entity (you’ll see a note like: Item Exhibit Separated by the Certiverse System).

4. Preview and Edit the Exhibit

  1. Click the Item Preview tab.

  2. Select Edit Exhibit.

5. Review Exhibit Details

Once in the exhibit editing view, you can see:

  • Exhibit ID – e.g., MMEX448, a unique identifier automatically generated.

  • Description – A user-defined description of the exhibit.

  • System-Generated Keywords – Keywords assigned to enhance search and reuse.
