This feature automatically allocates additional exam time for candidates booking exams in countries where English is not the primary language and the exam does not offer a translation. Configurable through the “Time Accommodation For Country Without Language” option in the store exam Accommodation tab, this setting allows organizations to define the extra time to be applied universally for all relevant countries. When enabled, if the exam’s available languages do not match the primary language of the selected delivery country, the candidate is automatically granted the specified additional time. This adjustment is made during the booking process and is also triggered if the delivery country is changed. If conditions are no longer met, the additional time is removed, and the candidate will need to reselect their appointment. The added time is displayed alongside the original exam duration as “Language Time Accommodation,” ensuring clear communication to candidates. Proctoring and delivery systems will automatically recognize and implement these time extensions, maintaining consistency with current accommodation displays.
