How to Set up Custom Demographic Fields
Tap the video to pause the demo or manually advance each step.
Organizations now have the capability to define custom candidate demographic fields tailored to their needs, which can then be configured and selected for store exams. This feature is accessible through the “Custom Demographic Fields” tab within the Store Configuration, where a list of existing custom fields defined for the organization is displayed, including details like label, type, and whether the field is required. Organization Admins can view, update, and add new custom demographic fields without requiring uniqueness for labels. Fields can be set as text or list types, with text fields allowing up to 100 characters and list types presenting options in a specified order. Custom demographic fields are assigned to store exams via the updated “ADD DEMOGRAPHIC FIELD” button, which allows users to include both system-wide and custom fields in a specified order. These fields are collected when a candidate books an exam and stored as part of the candidate's data. Changes to field types or options will not impact already stored values, ensuring consistent reporting and results. This new feature enhances the flexibility for organizations to capture relevant candidate demographic data aligned with their specific requirements.
