The following enhancements are highlighted in the video demo below (with timestamps):
General
- Exam Status Label Changes (00:10)
- Certiverse has changed the "Pending" status label in "My Exams" candidate dashboard to reduce confusion. For Live Proctored - Scheduled exams and Test Center delivered exams, we have changed "Pending" to "Scheduled." For Non-scheduled exams also referred to as On Demand exams, we have changed "Pending" to "Ready."
-
Smoother Booking with Enhanced Retake Handling (00:29)
-
We've streamlined the booking process by making retake rules clearer and easier to understand. Here's what you can expect:
-
Retake Rules at a Glance: Retake eligibility is now assessed after you confirm your exam but before you enter the booking flow. This ensures you only see available slots.
-
Clearer Messaging: If retake rules prevent you from booking, you'll see a specific message explaining why. No more confusion!
-
Accurate Retake Dates: We've tightened up retake date calculations, so you can be confident about available booking windows.
-
Booking Blocked When Necessary: If you haven't met the retake requirements (e.g., exceeded attempts, failed a recent exam), the booking process will be blocked to avoid any issues.
-
Detailed Explanations: The new messages will provide specific details for various scenarios, including:
-
No retakes allowed for this exam
-
Retakes not available for exams you've already passed
-
Scheduling conflicts with retake restrictions
-
Pending or open reservations impacting eligibility
-
Reaching the maximum number of retake attempts

Support Portal
- Certiverse Support Team - Cancel Scheduled Exam (00:55)
- Previously, Live Scheduled exams did not allow for a last minute cancellation with 24 hours of the candidate's exam reservation date. Certiverse acknowledges each Test Sponsor various policies for their testing programs, therefore we have enabled the ability to cancel a candidate's exam reservation. Certiverse Support team will oversee the cancellation request and fulfill this request once approved by the Test Sponsor.
- Candidate Exam Canceled Confirmation Email (01:17)
- When a candidate's exam reservation is canceled, they will now receive an email confirming the cancelation. The email confirms the cancellation of the registration, includes exam details (organization, exam name, date and time), and provides refund information. Refunds are processed immediately, taking 5-10 business days to appear for credit card payments. Vouchers are reactivated if still valid. The email also provides support contact information.
Test Centers Portal
- New Test Center Roles (01:38)
- Certiverse has added new roles for on site testing events, Test Center Proctors and Test Center Group Managers. To utilize these new roles, visit the Test Centers Portal, navigate to the "Test Center Staff" tab in the test center configuration for managing these roles. Test Center Group Managers can add/remove Test Center Managers, who can manage settings but not add/remove other managers. Test Center Managers and Group Managers can add/remove Test Center Proctors. Proctors and Managers can view reservations and unlock/release exams but cannot view reservations without another role permitting it.
- Enhanced Exam Security: Streamlined Launch for Test Center Proctors (02:07)
-
This release prioritizes exam integrity and a smooth testing experience. To ensure a controlled launch process during an on site testing event, candidates can now only begin their exams after the test center proctor unlocks them in the Test Centers Portal. It is important to note, candidates currently viewing the dashboard will need to refresh their page to see the unlocked exam.
-
Reporting Portal
- Exam Store Bookings Report - Add User ID & Client Candidate ID (02:33)
-
For clients using organization-specific IDs, we've added "User ID" and "Client Candidate ID" (including SSO, eligibility, or demographic IDs) to the report. These hidden fields, accessible through the Columns tab on the right, offer a more granular view of exam bookings while keeping the default report clean.
-
Remote Proctoring & Test Delivery
-
Prevent Accidental Agreement Declinations (03:00)
-
Certiverse has made exam agreements clearer to avoid accidental cancellations. Test-takers will now actively agree by typing "QUIT EXAM" in a confirmation dialogue box, replacing the previous "Continue" button. This ensures a deliberate choice before ending the exam. For those who wish to decline, a "Confirm and Quit Exam" button appears after typing "QUIT EXAM."
-
Exam Management Portal
-
Delivery Security Configuration (03:27)
-
Certiverse is excited to present clients with custom Delivery Security Configuration options! Admins can now centrally manage browser feature access during exams. By default, features like printing and clipboard access are disabled, while full screen mode and disabled printing are enabled. This balance ensures security while allowing customization. Clients can enable/disable specific features to meet their unique testing needs by navigating to the Exam Management Portal, selecting an exam, and locating the Delivery Security tab.
