The Proctor Experience (AI-Assisted Sessions)

💡 The proctor dashboard shows multiple candidate sessions at once. Sessions with AI Enhanced Proctoring active are labeled with an "AI ✨" badge on their tile — the AI handles continuous monitoring so one proctor can oversee many sessions simultaneously.

Step 1: The Proctor Dashboard

1.1 Each candidate tile shows their name, ID, session time/duration, and the AI badge if AI-Enhanced Proctoring is active for that session.

1.2 Click into a candidate's tile for the expanded view: their webcam and screen share, with session controls along the bottom (Pause, Settings, AI Proctoring Settings, Log Incident, Extend Time, End Exam, Terminate, Reset Videos).

Step 2: Responding to an AI-Flagged Incident

2.1 When AI monitoring detects a possible issue (e.g., camera covered, another person entering frame), the caution icon on that candidate's tile turns red with a number badge.

2.2 The candidate's exam pauses automatically while the incident awaits your review.

2.3 Click the caution icon to open Incident Detected: a 12-second video clip of the moment, the Timestamp, the candidate, and a Description (e.g., "Face out of view").

2.4 Watch the clip and decide: Ignore Incident (dismiss and resume the candidate's session) or Log Incident (record it to the session's permanent history).

❓ When should I ignore versus log an incident?

Ignore when the clip shows nothing concerning: a brief shadow, a normal adjustment, a false trigger. Log when the clip shows something worth recording for the exam's integrity record, even if it doesn't warrant terminating the session, such as a person briefly entering the room. Logged incidents become part of the permanent playback history an Org Admin can review later.

2.5 You may also manually Log Incident at any time from the main control bar, independent of an AI flag.

Step 3: Resolving the Session

3.1 After reviewing, either let the candidate continue (the session resumes) or click Terminate to end the exam if the incident warrants it.
