Certiverse Exam Room Preparation and Compliance Requirements

To ensure a secure and fair testing environment, please follow these room preparation and behavior requirements. You'll be required to scan your exam environment to show compliance with these guidelines before starting your exam.

Need accommodations? If you are unable to meet any of these requirements due to a documented condition, please submit an accommodations request at least three business days before your appointment with your exam sponsor.


Room Preparation Requirements

1. Private, Quiet Space

Take your exam in a private room where no other person is allowed entry during the exam session.

2. Adequate Lighting

Ensure that your room is well-lit so that the proctor can clearly see you and your surroundings.

3. Clear Workspace

Your desk and work area must be free from all materials, including papers, books, and electronics.

4. Electronics Disabled

All electronic devices in the room must be turned off. Phones, smartwatches, and similar devices are not permitted in the room.

5. Limited Background Noise

Minimize any background noise to maintain a quiet testing environment.

6. No Headphones Allowed

Headphones, earbuds, and similar devices are prohibited.


Behavior Requirements During the Exam

1. Remain Seated

You must stay seated at all times during your exam. If your exam allows breaks (e.g., Professional-level exams), follow all proctor instructions regarding break times.

2. Head and Shoulders Visible

Keep your head and shoulders fully visible throughout the exam to ensure clear proctor visibility.

3. No Communication Outside of the Exam

Refrain from speaking, reading aloud, or mouthing questions. Communication with anyone outside the exam environment is strictly prohibited.

4. No Sharing of Exam Content

Sharing, reproducing, or transmitting exam content is prohibited and may result in disqualification and potential legal action.

5. Prohibited Behavior

Abusive language or behavior toward the proctor or other candidates will result in immediate termination of your exam and reporting to the exam sponsor.
