This release introduces self-service Partner API key management, a new Reporting User role for restricted reporting access, bulk Delivery Status updates in Item Management, a redesigned always-visible navigation rail, and expanded AI Standard Setting capabilities for automated Angoff scoring and AI Enemy Detection on Blueprints.
Target release date: Friday, September 11th, 2026
Please note: In the interest of informing our customers as early as possible of any platform changes, we are sharing these release notes in advance of the software release. The final updates, including the target release date, may vary and will be documented accordingly.
AI Content Generation
AI Standard Setting - opt in to AI passing score at Blueprint level
The AI Configurations tab in Blueprint Settings now includes an AI Passing Score toggle. When enabled, the Blueprint is opted in to automated Angoff score generation, and the toggle is temporarily disabled while related processing is underway. The toggle is enabled by default for new Blueprints and disabled by default for existing ones.
AI Standard Setting - bulk statistics generation on AI passing score opt-in
When AI Passing Score is first enabled for a Blueprint, all existing Accepted items are now evaluated to generate a baseline of AI Angoff scores and AI p-values. Items that already have an AI Angoff score are not reprocessed, and AI-generated values are stored separately from human-entered ones so neither is overwritten. Processing runs in the background, and the user is notified in-app once it completes.
AI Standard Setting - Angoff score and AI p-value generation triggered on item accepted
For Blueprints with AI Passing Score enabled, an item's AI Angoff score and AI p-value are now automatically generated or refreshed whenever the item enters or re-enters the Accepted state, or is updated while already Accepted. AI-generated values are stored separately from human-entered scores, so neither is overwritten. Processing runs in the background and does not affect existing item update notifications.
BI & Reporting
Reporting User role
A new Reporting User role has been added to the Roles and Permissions section, giving users access to the BI & Reporting portal without broader system permissions. The role can view and export reports and dashboards, including Delivery, Psychometrics, Financial, Proctoring, and Test Center reports, scoped to the organizations it is assigned to. Existing roles and their permissions are not affected by this change.
Blueprint
Enable AI enemy detection by default for new blueprints
AI Enemy Detection is now enabled by default when a new blueprint is created, rather than requiring manual setup. Authors can still manually disable the toggle on any individual blueprint after creation, and disabling it does not delete previously generated enemy detection data. Existing blueprints retain their current toggle state and are not affected by this change.
Connectors & Integrations
Self Service API Services- API Key Management & Permissions (Eligibility, Results Pull, Provisioning)
A new API Keys management area has been added to the Connectors section of the left navigation, allowing organizations to generate, view, copy, regenerate, and delete Partner API keys directly. Each key supports independent permission toggles for Eligibility, Results Pull, Provisioning, Exam Stop, Voucher, and Promo Code APIs, with keys expiring automatically after one year. Existing eligibility access is preserved when results pull permissions are added, and previously issued keys and permissions remain unaffected.
Item Management
Add Delivery Status option to Bulk Update menu
The Bulk Update menu on the Item Management screen now includes a Delivery Status option, letting admins update the status of multiple selected items in a single action. A preview screen shows which items will be updated and which will be skipped, with reasons such as active exam form assignment or in progress authoring status, before any changes are confirmed. All existing single item Delivery Status rules and audit history behavior remain unchanged.
Copied items should enter Draft state on copy
When an item is copied, the new item is created in Draft state. Tags and exhibits associated with the source item are now also copied across, ensuring the copied item is complete and ready to edit before being moved to Accepted.
Add back link to Progress Dashboard in Item Management
A Progress Dashboard back link has been added to Item Management. The link appears whenever a user has drilled into any status from the status panel and returns them directly to the Progress Dashboard when clicked. It is not shown while viewing the Progress Dashboard itself.
Navigation & Discovery
Redesign navigation rail for improved wayfinding
The navigation rail has been redesigned to remain visible at all times, with a secondary panel beside it displaying the pages for the active destination area. Hovering or selecting a destination such as Design, Develop, Deliver, or Reporting updates the secondary panel, and on smaller screens the panel expands over the main content instead of staying pinned. Existing routing and page destinations are unchanged.
Test Center & Events
Fix case-insensitive name sorting in test center reservations
Sorting by Last Name and First Name on the Test Center Reservations list has been updated to ignore letter case. Names now sort in strict alphabetical order regardless of whether the first letter is upper or lower case. All existing functionality remains unchanged.
Translation
Indicate when AI translation was used to translate items
Item History now accurately attributes AI Bulk Translate actions to Certiverse AI instead of the triggering user. The action label reads Translation Added when a translation is created for the first time, and Translation Updated only when an existing translation is subsequently modified, with the comment field reflecting the same distinction. Existing history records are not affected retroactively.
Update copy and behavior of AI Translate single-item toast
The toast notification shown after using AI Translate on a single item has been updated. It now reads "Item translated to [language] by Certiverse AI. Review before saving." and no longer auto-dismisses, requiring the user to dismiss it manually. All existing functionality remains unchanged.
