Release Notes: Release 37

This release refreshes the Authoring navigation and blueprint creation flows, adds a Schoox LMS integration for exam eligibility, introduces confirmation safeguards before publishing rescored results, and improves visibility of voucher expiration dates and translated menu labels for candidates.

Target release date: 8 July 2026

Please note: In the interest of informing our customers as early as possible of any platform changes, we are sharing these release notes in advance of the software release. The final updates, including the target release date, may vary and will be documented accordingly.

Authoring

Updated Terminology for Job/Role and Qualified Candidate

Minimally Qualified Candidate terminology has been replaced with plain-language terms across the platform. JTA settings, Blueprint settings, and related buttons now use Job/Role, while Item Writing and Standard Setting Delivery screens use Qualified Candidate. All existing functionality remains unchanged.

Refreshed Authoring Navigation and Blueprint Landing Page

The Authoring left navigation has been reorganized, with Exam Blueprints now listed as the first menu option ahead of Job Task Analyses. Admins now land on the Exam Blueprints tab immediately after login, and the organization filter defaults to a single organization automatically or remembers your last selection across portals. All existing functionality remains unchanged.

New Card Menu for Starting an Exam Blueprint

Starting a new exam blueprint now begins with a card based menu that lays out each creation method side by side. Each card includes a short description of what that method involves, and cards that use AI display a sparkle icon to call out that capability.

Streamlined Flow for Creating a Blueprint from a New Job Task Analysis

Selecting Start With a JTA from the blueprint creation menu now guides users directly through creating a new Job Task Analysis and into the Authoring Blueprint. The Job Task Analysis Info section has been renamed to Exam Blueprint Info and now includes Exam Blueprint Name, Assessment Level, and a new required Exam Duration field, alongside the shortened Minimally Qualified Candidate Info section. Existing Job Task Analyses are not affected by this change.

Faster Blueprint Creation from an Existing Job Task Analysis

Selecting Use a Certiverse JTA from the blueprint creation menu now takes users directly to the Create Exam Blueprint screen, reducing the number of navigation steps required. Fields such as Exam Blueprint Name and Assessment Level are automatically populated from the source JTA.

Simplified Manual Blueprint Creation Flow

Selecting Start From Scratch from the blueprint creation menu now opens a streamlined Create Exam Blueprint screen focused on manual setup. The Blueprint Info section has been renamed to Exam Blueprint Info and the Minimally Qualified Candidate section to Minimally Qualified Candidate Info.

Renamed Build Blueprint Button and Updated Status Labels

The Publish JTA button has been renamed to Build Blueprint and now takes users through a short two step flow, first confirming the Job Task Analysis is ready and then asking whether AI should generate topic descriptions before moving into the blueprint.

Relocate "Import Tasks" from JTA Configuration Settings to Authoring JTA Tasks Screen

The Import Tasks option has been moved from JTA Configuration settings to a new button in the top header of the Authoring JTA Tasks screen. The button appears only when a JTA is in Authoring status and is visible to Super, Organization, and Certiverse Admins. The existing import functionality is unchanged.

Relocate "Import Topics" from Blueprint Configuration Settings to Blueprint Screen

The Import Topics option has been moved from Blueprint Configuration settings to a new button in the top header of the Blueprint Topics screen. The button appears only for manually created blueprints in Authoring status and is visible to Super, Organization, and Certiverse Admins. The existing import functionality is unchanged.

Connectors & Integrations

Schoox LMS Integration

Schoox has been added as a supported Learning Management System for exam eligibility checks. Organizations can now configure Schoox as an eligibility option in the Store, and the platform verifies a candidate's enrollment before allowing them to book an exam. When a candidate completes their exam, enrollment in the corresponding Schoox course is automatically closed.

Exam Management

Add Confirmation Modals for Publish and Cancel Actions in Rescoring

Within Exam Management > Rescoring, the Publish and Cancel Rescoring actions now require a double confirmation step via a dialog modal to prevent accidental irreversible operations. Clicking Publish displays a modal asking "Are you sure you want to publish X results?", while clicking Cancel Rescoring prompts "Are you sure you want to undo rescoring for these results?" — both including the count of affected results. The action toolbar buttons have also been reordered (Export, Cancel Rescoring, Rescore, Publish) and restyled to match the design system, improving visual distinction and reducing the risk of misclicks.

Translation

Fully Translated Profile Dropdown Menu

The profile dropdown menu now displays fully translated labels when a non-English language is selected, including Achievement Stars, My Exams, Account Settings, and Sign Out. If a translation is missing for a given language, the dropdown falls back to English rather than showing a blank or untranslated label.

Voucher

Voucher Expiration Date Visibility for Candidates

Candidates can now see their voucher expiration date and time directly in the booking flow and on the My Exams reservation card. When a voucher is applied, the expiration date appears in the confirmation message, and a status chip on the reservation card shows the expiration date and time for Ready, and other relevant statuses.
