This release expands candidate-facing language support with new French, German, and Italian translations across the platform and localized exam pre-flight, rules, and violation pages. It also adds proctoring recording improvements, exam form copying without items, a streamlined blueprint-to-item-writing flow, Power BI report badges, and Card Button styling refinements.
Target release date: 1st July 2026
Please note: In the interest of informing our customers as early as possible of any platform changes, we are sharing these release notes in advance of the software release. The final updates may vary and will be documented accordingly.
Other
Add delay to closing video stream after termination
The proctoring system now continues recording for up to 10 seconds after a termination incident occurs before closing the video stream, ensuring the termination message shown to the candidate is captured in the session playback. This provides clear evidence for dispute resolution and sponsor confidence that the candidate saw the termination reason. If the candidate manually closes the session before the delay elapses, the recording ends immediately. There is no impact on other termination workflows or system stability.
Copy exam form without items
The existing Copy Exam Form functionality now includes a toggle option to copy an exam form without its items, effectively replacing the need for Org-managed exam form templates. When the option is turned off, a new exam form is created retaining all test parts, sections, scoring rules, and other settings from the source form, but with no items attached, allowing users to quickly set up a new form structure and populate it independently. By default, the toggle is set to copy items, preserving the current behavior. This streamlines exam form creation and reduces reliance on the legacy template workflow.
Add navigation to Item Writing from publish blueprint modal
The Publish button on the exam blueprint has been renamed to Start Item Writing to make the next step in the process clearer. Selecting it now opens a confirmation modal explaining that publishing will finalize the blueprint version and redirect to Item Writing, with Cancel and Ok options. On confirmation, the blueprint is published and the user is taken directly to the Item Writing assignment screen, removing the need to navigate there manually.
French, German and Italian translations
French, German, and Italian have been added as selectable languages across all candidate-facing areas of the platform, including the homepage, booking portal, exam dashboard, secure browser install pages, and test driver. Candidates can now select their preferred language from the language selector dropdown, with all UI text, booking flows, and error messages fully translated for each of the three new languages. A fallback to English applies where any translation string is unavailable.
AI-Translate Exam Pre-flight page for all supported languages
The Exam Pre-flight page can now be displayed in the candidate's selected language, so system requirements, equipment validation, and ID verification checks are shown in a language they understand. A language dropdown appears on the page when the exam language differs from the candidate's source language, limited to those two options, and the page updates immediately when a different language is selected.
AI-Translate Exam Rules & Policies page for all supported languages
The Exam Rules & Policies page can now be displayed in the candidate's selected language, so all rules, policy text, headings, and acknowledgment messaging are fully understood before the candidate agrees to them. A language dropdown appears on the page when the exam language differs from the candidate's source language, limited to those two options, and the page updates immediately when a different language is selected.
AI-Translate Rule Violations page for all supported languages
The Rule Violations page can now be displayed in the candidate's selected language, so violation messages, warnings, instructions, and action prompts are clearly understood during the exam. A language dropdown appears on the page when the exam language differs from the candidate's source language, limited to those two options, and the page updates immediately when a different language is selected.
Add "Power BI Report" badge to report cards in BI & Reports tab
Report cards in the BI & Reports tab now display a "Power BI" badge, allowing users to identify the report source at a glance without opening it. The badge is consistently positioned on every card and follows the existing design system styling. It is display-only and does not affect any existing card interactions such as click, hover, or navigation.
Update card button font and icon size
Card Buttons in the BI & Reporting and Item Import areas have been updated to align with Design System specifications, with titles set to Title Medium, descriptions set to Body Medium in the On Surface Variant color, and icons rendered at 24x24px. The layout and structure of the cards remain unchanged.
