We're thrilled to announce key enhancements to the Certiverse platform, significantly improving user experience, reporting capabilities, and exam management flexibility.
General Portal
-
Sticky Organization Selection: Say goodbye to repetitive organization selection! Your organization choice will now persist across all Certiverse applications (Item Management, Authoring, Exam Management, Admin, Reporting, etc.). This eliminates potential confusion and errors, ensuring a seamless transition between different areas of the platform. If you only have access to one organization, it will be automatically selected. If you have access to multiple organizations, the system will default to "ALL" (if available) or prompt you to choose. This improvement also includes sticky Blueprint selection within an organization and optimized defaulting behaviors for various reports and sections.
-
Clarified User Name Change Restrictions: We've clarified the rules around user name changes based on login method. Users logging in with Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn accounts can still request name changes. However, users logging in via SSO/Organization methods (SAML or OIDC) will no longer be able to request name changes. This change ensures consistency with organization-managed identity systems while maintaining control for users with individual social accounts. Auth0 accounts remain unaffected.
-
Enhanced Account Identification for Org SSO Users: For users logging in with organizational SSO, we've added the Certiverse alphanumeric User ID and, where possible, the Org SSO Client Candidate ID to the Account Settings page. This provides a clear way to distinguish between different Certiverse accounts sharing the same email address, especially in scenarios where users may have multiple linked accounts.
Store Exam Portal
-
Employer Information for Reimbursement: Candidates paying with credit cards can now enter employer information (name, address, and tax ID) during the booking process. This data is securely passed to Stripe and displayed on the invoice, simplifying reimbursement processes and reducing manual support work.

This supports basic rich text formatting and hyperlinks, enabling you to deliver targeted messaging to your candidates.

Granular Control Over Exam Retakes: You now have precise control over exam retake attempts with the ability to set a maximum number of attempts within a specified timeframe. This feature allows you to define both the maximum number of attempts (up to 99 or unlimited) and the time period (up to 9,999 days or a lifetime limit) within which those attempts can be made.

Publicly Accessible System Validation Tool: We've launched a publicly accessible system validation tool that allows candidates to verify their computer's compatibility with Certiverse exams, both with and without a secure browser. This proactive approach empowers candidates to address potential technical issues before exam day.

Streamlined ID Verification with Nickname Support: To simplify the ID verification process during live proctored exams, we've added an "Allow Nicknames" option to the Proctor Notes configuration. This allows proctors to accept common nicknames as valid forms of identification, reducing unnecessary rejections due to minor name discrepancies.
Blueprint Portal
-
Updated Terminology for Enhanced Clarity: To align with industry best practices, we've replaced the term "Job Role" with "Minimally Qualified Candidate" throughout the Blueprint interface. This change ensures clearer communication and understanding during both Blueprint creation and review.
